Is love the greatest gift of all?

Even when you're not looking for love, you can find just what you need in the most unusual of places. Mourning her husband, Louise is given some ghostly advice and finds that what she needs is 'A Christmas Gift'.

A short story offering of just over 2,000 words, this is the first release by exciting new author Micah Arnold.

'A Christmas Gift' is the first in a series of short stories featuring the same characters and themed around various holidays. The next one has a Valentine theme, is titled 'The Nearest Thing to Heaven' and is available for purchase now. I hope you enjoy them both. Thank you.

This is a short but emotionally affecting tale of love, loss and moving on to the hope of a new life and love. A good debut.

short story, very, very hopeful

It is a very short story, really hopeful. However it is very predictable, there are no surprises. But on the other hand – it has a good message, keep going whatever happens, that is quite good. All in all I did like it.

Touching

Touching little story about a bereaved woman struggling at Christmas after seeing a ghost. Simple and short, it brought a tear to my eye. This author is definitely one to watch.

My wish

The best gift ever – to experience that one last meeting – for anyone who has lost a loved one this would be the ultimate wish. So much emotion in so few pages.

Unfortunately I only received the last paragraph of the book on my kindle so therefore am unable to comment on the content of the book.
