Wealthy New York City girl Claire Lindell isn’t looking for a Christmas miracle or happiness when she abruptly decides to hole up for the holiday at her godmother’s cottage in a little Yorkshire village, and lick her wounds from a near disastrous romantic decision.

After her car skids into a snow bank, Claire may have accidently found her perfect Christmas and the family and love she’s craved when she offers Noah Bradford of Ayesgill Farm help to push the back end of one of his sheep out of the icy mud, even if she’s going to ruin a brand new pair of Prada boots during the rescue.

What’s a little leather when love’s on the line?

Ok!

 on 18 November 2016
By KM Lowe
This is the first book I have read by this author and I don’t think it would be the last. I bought A Yorkshire Christmas, so when I got to 50% and it ended, I was a little disappointed, because I thought I had a whole lot of the story to go. Some would say you got two stories for one, but if I wanted the second book I would have bought it. That is the criticism for this book, because I actually enjoyed Claire and Noah’s story. It was exactly what a Christmas book should be. I would have like a little more at the end instead of it jumping into another book.

Captures the real spirit of Christmas

Really loved this book set in Yorkshire. It really captures the spirit of Christmas as two people who have both been hurt in the past come together for the sake of a child and realise what they are both looking for.

The Snow Storm

A good story,it’s everybody’s worst nightmare to arrive at a party & the ex is there. Running away is far easier than staying. The story tells of one person’s reaction to the situation, ending up on the motorway driving anywhere & then the snow starts to fall. The meeting of a stranger who helps them & then changes their live forever. Enjoyable, light reading, recommend to friends.

Festive feelgood

This is a nice easy Christmas story. There aren’t any surprises, but that doesn’t matter. There is two stories for the price of one, admittedly the second has striking similarities to the first. But if you want a feelgood Xmas book, then you could do a lot worse than this.

A Holiday Romance

 on 15 June 2016
By talmine
This was something of an impulse buy based solely on the first review I encountered which describes this novella as ‘pure escapism’ and ‘containing only three real characters’, in other words an easy, enjoyable read; which was what I was looking for last Xmas 2015. And so it proved.

Yes the characters do fall in love too quickly

A lovely short story to read at Christmas time. Yes the characters do fall in love too quickly, but that’s to be expected with a short story. This finishes at 49% on the kindle, but then there is a bonus story of Falling For Christmas too.

Christmas love

Stuck at home after a hip replacement operation, I snuggled on the sofa and had a double dose of Christmas romance, just what I needed! The storyline was a little predictable but I enjoyed it. Would read more by this author.

A real Christmas Romance

A feel good romance, with lots of snow. Well written with characters that draw you in. I enjoyed the fact that taster snippets were included for another story and that a second short story was included.

A Yorkshire Christmas

As I live in Yorkshire and like to read a Christmas book around Christmas time I was drawn to this one, a bit predictable but it’s a lovely story and I really enjoyed reading it.
