Absolutely brilliant

I found this absolutely engrossing, amazingly fair and balanced and brilliantly well-researched. Shipman has obviously cultivated great access to his subjects and so brings real insight to the subject. There are moments that made me shout-out-loud angry, but still he succeeds in making it a fascinating and compelling read.

Great Book

Excellent book describing the lead up to Brexit and the trials and tribulations of the key players

An excellent read

An excellent account of not just the EU referendum but the events of twenty years previous that lead to the referendum and Brexit. A fascinating read that shows the referendum itself was just part of a longer campaign and covers all of the players contributions or lack thereof. Well written and very insightful.

Unputdownable

An outstanding piece of journalism that gives a real insight into what happened. At the same time it’s like reading a Thomas Hardy novel.

Great book, but reading it in the aftermath of the 2017 general election I felt it was already out of date- needs a new edition publishing!
