Couldn’t recommend this book more. Having had anxiety for years now and only just realising that all my symptoms relate exactly to the ones in this book, it’s put my mind at ease. It’s a good short read which is also great as concentrating on anything can be struggle! Anytime I feel symptoms coming on it can be highly reassuring reaching for this book, thankyou x

This book is Great and is so in depth. There are different sections that each inform you of different aspects, each one goes into lots of detail and helps you understand everything. It clearly explains all the symptoms and why they occur. I also like it because he talks about his own personal experience which makes you feel like your not alone. It tells you how you should think about the anxiety which is really helpful as you can sometimes be overwhelmed with negative thoughts. I think that this book is perfect for people who do not know much about their symptoms and need to start thinking positively, although this book is only really appropriate for people with anxiety and panic disorder.

Honestly- the past couple of moths have been horrible on my anxiety I moved from Scotland to England last summer but I think not spending the holidays with my family have really got to me and with working every hour under the sun my anxiety has got so bad!! This book has explained what anxiety is and pretty much everything a worried mind needs to know!!

Having suffered in silence for some time this book has really given me the tools to overcome feelings of anxiety and help me realise, quite simply, that it is just that, anxiety. So many of the symptoms of anxiety I previously thought to be separate from one another, are all linked. I used to think I had so much wrong with me, but now I finally understand the mechanics of the experience. The “My Story” section in the book really puts into perspective the authors true experience of anxiety, his determination to overcome is massively inspiring. The only thing I wish is that this book was around when I was in highschool!

For anybody suffering from anxiety I highly recommend this read. The book is well written and easy to follow. The book highlights the symptoms of anxiety and makes suggestions for improving your anxious thoughts and feelings. I found this book really interesting and helped to clarify things. Thank you Joshua for a great supportive book.
