Beautiful Chaos is the third instalment of the spellbinding love story that began with Beautiful Creatures – a romance that is bound to capture the hearts of Twilight fans everywhere.

Some loves are meant to be. Others are cursed . . .

Ethan wate is in love with a caster girl.

When he looks at Lena, it's like there's no one else in the world.

But Ethan is mortal, and on her seventeenth birthday Lena made a choice that changed everything. The girl Ethan loves has broken the world with the supernatural powers she is struggling to control . . .

Now, if they are to fix the chaos Lena has caused, one of them must make a terrible sacrifice. Sometimes there isn't just one answer. Sometimes there's no going back. And this time there won't be a happy ending.

*Don't miss the Warner Brothers and Alcon Entertainment blockbuster movie of Beautiful Creatures directed by Richard LaGravenese (P.S. Absolutely beautiful

I absolutely love this series and will be sad when I read the next book. Thankfully there’s the spin off series so at least I’ll get to spend a little more time in this world. The writing is brilliant, if a little repetitive and long winded at times. The characters are written so you care what happens, be it if they’re good or bad and there is a lot of little twists and turns that you really don’t expect which is one my favourite things about these books. They are a definite must read if you like fantasy worlds.

Have to read this again!

I read this soooo fast! Think I missed half of what was going on because I was so keen to get to the conclusion, I needed it to be fixed! Cant say much without ruining conclusion of beautiful darkness, but this was great! Again, totally different, its amazing that the writers have almost created a different world for each book. You are practically jumping up and down in your seat to hurry things along and see what happens. Just enough bittersweet to pull you in without the heaviness of beautiful darkness. Just exciting!

Predictable but still a good read – for teenagers

I have been enjoying how the story has grown, what/who and where characters fit in, but have started to get a little fed up with the book repeating itself, making frequent references to past events. Started to skim read this one.

Beautifully written

This book works in so many ways. It’s characterization and plot are well thought out. The story flows through the many devices used. Ethan and Lena are the main characters but the others in the book grow stronger too.

Great read

I have enjoyed the continuing saga of Ethan Wate and Leana Duchannes and their fight against the Dark and Light casters.

Another quality instalment

Officially Book 3 (4th if you’ve read the short story about Link that chronologically precedes this one), the story unfolds with the same gripping pace & complexity – although I’m sure I’m not the only one to work out fairly early on who the “one who is two” was! If you’ve read the other books you have to keep reading – and if you haven’t, then you definitely need to first.

I liked how they carried on Ridley desperation to not be mortal and to be a caster as her personality would keep her thinking mortals were weak, whereas in most scenarios the author would come up with some great revelation on why mortals are better and her being happy with it, however I love how they kept it consistent, however I think thanks grudge with John went a little bit far and I think it would have made a much more interesting story for John to join there group and for him, link and Lena to experiment with what link and John would be capable of

So just what will this installment bring? It can’t get worse, can it?

The further adventures of our lead couple with their friends and the difficulties they have faced so far still leave you wondering what on earth they will be forced to face and just how will it turn out! Another great page turner which is so difficult to put down!

beautiful story, beautiful chaos

I stumbled across the 4 books in this series after seeing trailers for the film Beautiful Creatures – not my usual type of reading (Im either reading Man Booker list nominees or lately any great nordic noir in the style of The Killing or The Bridge or Borgen.) But I love these books! The first one is more the boy meets girl type storyline but still well written and engaing – the second one really gets going on the plot and this third one just takes the plot up a notch…a mix of Harry Potter type spells and ‘magic’, Twilight romance and doomed relationships, all mixed in with Southern USA state history and intrigue and ‘dark’ magic and superstition. Its certainly not just for young adults – Im 41 and the books rank in my personal top 20 for great memorable reads.
