How Big Are the Books?
A common complaint among purchasers of “How to…” eBooks is that the description didn’t really give them a clear idea of how big the books were and they are invariably disappointed.
This book is around 5000 words (plus many music exercises) or roughly 60-70 pages when formatted in Word.

Who are you?
I am a musician and teacher. Much of my music book writing knowledge was gained when I wrote a syllabus for my Professional Musicianship degree. I learned even more about teaching during my many years as a fulltime music theory, guitar, bass and drum teacher. I no longer teach fulltime as I’m working more as a musician but I continue to learn from the awesome musicians I meet!

I love this little ebook for many reasons: the author has a friendly style, the information provided is clear and aimed at someone learning alone – with zero experience, and the free downloads provided for practising chord changes are a godsend!

What a great find. Over the years I’ve dabbled at the guitar using other books, but never made much progress. In this volume the author gets you going quickly with very clear explanations and exercises. I can see a way forward at last! If you’re a beginner or a re-beginner at guitar I strongly recommend this book.

This is a fab introduction to playing the guitar for someone with no experience. Different parts of the guitar are illustrated really clearly, and its very easy to understand. It comes with free audio clips too so you know how its supposed to sound!

This is a great book for the true beginner. It takes time to cover those often over looked areas without leaving you drowned in theory. Most of all it’s good fun and the reference material always gives you something to work towards.
