'A gorgeously sparkly romance about letting go and learning to love again. The perfect Christmas read!' – Julia Williams, bestselling author of Coming Home for Christmas

The most wonderful time of the year?

Jewellery designer Skylar isn’t so sure. Especially if she has to spend it with cynical, aloof Alec. So what if he’s a famous historian? He’s also determined to think the worst of her and when a twist of fate means they’re stuck together, she’s expecting disaster!

But as they flee snowy London on a winter adventure that takes them from his family’s festive Cotswold chaos to her native Puffin Island, she realises that she may have misjudged him.

As glittering Christmas nights draw in, the sparks between Alec and Skylar glow ever brighter. Could they find their own Christmas Ever After?

Christmas heaven!

Wow wow wow wow! I’ve been waiting for the 3rd book in the Puffin Island series and thank you to NetGalley for giving me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Cosy Christmassy perfection

I love Sarah Morgan books, reading her stories are like putting on your favourite cosy jumper and curling up with a big box of chocolates. They make me feel all warm inside and I mostly read the whole book with a huge smile on my face. (Apart from the sad bits) But the one thing Sarah does really well is Christmas books. Christmas simply wouldn’t be Christmas without some gorgeous delicious sparkly treat from Sarah Morgan and Christmas Ever After is exactly that. Following on from the other 3 puffin island stories where the angst, hatred and chemistry has built between Alec and Sky, its a surprise then when Alec is the one that rescues Sky in her lowest moment. Tension builds between them like an unexploded firework and they both realise they were wrong about the other person. And when that firework finally explodes, the scene is delivered with such passion and chemistry that you just know there is no way either of them can keep their relationship simple as they both hope. Absolutely loved watching their relationship develop, i shed a few tears along the way and couldn’t stop smiling when I finished it at 2am this morning. Just perfect, cosy Christmassy escapism at its best

I don’t think there are enough words for me to say how much I loved this book. I’ve throughly enjoyed reading all of the Puffin Island stories and have fallen more and more in love with the three girls and their guys as each story progressed. But this one however literally pulled at a part of my heart so hard I felt like there was a weight in my chest.

Don’t believe the cynics

I made the mistake of reading some of the negative reviews & almost put this down after the 1st chapter. But being stubborn I decided I had to finish it after enjoying the 1st 2 books, and I’m glad I did. Yes the story is similar to the previous 2, it’s a series that links 3 friends, that’s the idea of a trilogy! Of course it’s no great literary masterpiece but if, like me, you just want a feel-good bit of escapist chick-lit, fill your boots with this. Every writer will have their own style that makes their books seem similar after you’ve read a few, but if you like 1 story why shouldn’t you read more like it? I think I loved this series more than Snow Crystal, & I finished this book with tears in my eyes. Now I’m off to hunt out SM’s next book or hopefully another Trilogy.

A Christmas Romance

 on 29 June 2016
By Paula J Williams
This is the third book of the series so we have already met the characters and know a little about them. It’s the story of six friends and their stories as they start relationships. Each book tells the story of a couple. You could read the books seperately but it’s better to read them in order so that you get a good idea of the characters and their stories. Sarah’s writing is very descriptive and the characters have strong personalities. There is a strong community feel to the books and I like how they look out for the older people on Puffin Island. I am now waiting to read the second and third books in her New York trilogy series.

Lovely finish to the trilogy

This is another very enjoyable book in the trilogy. It was so good, in fact, that I read it in one day and I rarely do that these days. What I enjoyed most that while we meet the characters from the other two books, ther wasn’t much repeated for the previous two which happens often in trilogies. It was a really nice finish toe the series and rounded it off well. The only criticism would be that there were some passages towards the end that felt a little dragged out and repeated, hence the four stars, but this didn’t spoil the book overall. Will definitely read more from the author.

Va-Va-Voom………5 BIG STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Christmas Ever After is the last book in the Puffin Island Trilogy by Sarah Morgan but can be read as a stand alone, however why would you want to miss out on 2 previous scorching hot books. This I think is my favourite book, it contains everything good after bad things occur. A united group of friends, talented people both men and women, a family that has true heart to it, sexual tension that burns through the pages, then released and liberated (wowza) and then finally SNOW, who could want for anything more in a Christmas read.
