This is probably the definitive compendium to British coins, as one reviewer has said, this publication excludes Scottish items. The publication will only be superseded by annually updated editions. The illustrations and colour plates are done rather well with copious notes and detailed narrative to show trends and patterns as well other information of numismatic value. This is a very useful edition to have whether you are a novice, serious collector or for those people being interested History.
