Stright forward introduction to the Stocks and Shares world

 on 20 November 2017
By Rafael
I really liked the simplicity and clarity of the message. This is a book that won’t try to dig too deep into the Stocks and Shares world, it will however give you the basic tools to get your foot in it. It is no doubt worth the 2 hours or so that you’ll spend reading it. I’d recommend this book to anyone trying to get some basics on stock options and investment technics.

A fab Noddy’s guide to investing

By joanne kennedy
I found this a very simple quick summary to investing. As a person who has previously stuck their toe into the water but panicked when shares dropped I really appreciated the sensible advice to not check too much, invest in low cost products and look for products that effectively look after themselves. I was also reassured that other financial independence blogs and a friend who have really got into this were talking about the same products !

The author made it simple to understand a topic that I have been interested in but shied away from tackling for a while. This short, well-written book has helped me with making my first step to becoming smarter with my savings.

Just as I found the author’s book about SIPPs useful, this book is very helpful and well written too. I’d read about index funds on the Mr Money Moustache blog and similar blogs, so it was interesting to see the authors thought process.
