This book contains plans for making various outdoor items that can be made in two days, or less. It starts out with a description of the various hand- and power-tools that would be needed to build these projects, then wood and its selection is discussed, and finally techniques of construction are discussed. Each project includes a cutting list, list of tools and sundries (screws, etc.), an exploded diagram, detailed step-by-step instructions, and a number of beautiful color(!) photos.

Nice projects well described

Good introduction to the woodwork with recommendation on the tools to have. Very nice and simple projects for the garden from a gardening bench to an obelisk or a bench. This book is very good for the beginners who want easy but nice projects. On the downside, the different objects look a bit bulky.

Everything is fairly easy to do with just a basic knowledge and level of skill. When finished though, it looks like it was harder to do. Credits all round then.

An excellent book, which confirmed that I was on the right lines with my current (and 1st) project, and which has given me some very good ideas for the winter, especially the 3tier plantstand.
