Strongly recommend !!!!

Down to earth, looking at sex and relationships from both sides. Lots of interesting facts and techniques – who said you couldn’t teach an old dog new tricks? When my children are ready I’ll tell them to read this as a more informative guide than I, school, or their friends can give them. Sex should be enjoyable for both parties and this book helps boost your understanding and confidence, hopefully, to give new things a try.

Great for young people

I am 25 years old and this book was very appropriate for my age group. She writes in a very pleasant and upbeat way. The tips and advice are straightforward and useful. I personally learnt a lot from this book. I also recommend “Scientifically Guaranteed Male Multiple Orgasms and Ultimate sex”.

Some great tips, but not all are relevant

I really enjoyed this book. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to get out of it, I more so bought it out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised. I like the author’s writing style, it’s very light hearted and refreshingly honest! There are some great tips in this book, even if you are an experienced lover the chances are you haven’t tried/you’ve forgotten about some of these tips.

One of the frankest books on sex you will ever read

I have to confess I was sceptical when a friend gave me this book. A small book with a bright pink cover entitled “Hot Sex” didn’t exactly inspire with confidence. However, I couldn’t put it down. This book has something for everybody be you experienced, inexperience, curious or just up for a laugh. For the inexperienced she explains the “technicalities” of sex in a frank yet approachable style for the more experienced she has a humorous outlook on some of her more complicated suggestions. The fact that she has intereviewed and includes the comments of numerous sex workers adds legitimacy and credibility to her advice, my only criticism would be that it is perhaps too general, with advice for men, women, straight, gay, experienced and inexperienced you may find that not a proportion of the book is not applicable to you, this doesn’t however, mean you won’t be interested in what she has to say. This is an ideal book to buy to share!

Very explicit, to the point, no beating round the bush…

A very well written book. This book requires no pictures as the descriptions lets your mind do the work. I found that I could even read the book with my current girlfriend with out feeling like a complete gimp. It showed us that there is much, much more than just ‘sex’. There is feeling and emotion in both parties concerned.

A sex book for men, written by a woman?

At last, an unpretentious, down-to-earth book written in plain language for both men and women. This volume deals with almost every aspect of sex without ignoring relationships between couples regardless of gender. It is packed with a humour that makes it fun reading alone or as a couple and leaves no room for embarrassment or shame. It explodes the perennial myths that seem to plague every generation and even explains the physiological differences between individuals of both sexes. Most refreshing of all it helps to dispel those little insecurities that are common to both men and women such as, ‘Am I too fat’, or ‘Am I too small’, or ‘Does size really matter’ – the list goes on… The book deals with all those things that they don’t teach in school sex education lessons, including masturbation & oral sex, and fills in the gaps of even the most experienced lover’s knowledge. It not only encourages both sexes to be supportive, sympathetic and sensitive to the needs (and taboos) of their partners – it also encourages respect. I recommend everyone to read the book from cover to cover including the author’s very modest introduction where she has not presumed to have covered every single aspect of sex or relationships and even apologises for that. Nevertheless her research has been most thorough and in my view, what isn’t covered is probably outside the scope of a volume such as this anyway. Perhaps most remarkable of all is that this book, although written by a woman, is particularly sympathetic towards men and I recommend it as being the ultimate in sex education for men, whether for their own reference or to share with a partner. This is not another Karma Sutra, nor is it an encyclopedia of the mechanics of sex – it is about ‘real’ sexual relationships and includes all the essential ingredients that should make us wiser and better sexual partners. Tracey Cox’s book gets my vote as the best sex manual of the 21st century and it deserves to be in the reference section of every public library.

Witty and very informative

Before i ever read this book.. and took action upon its advice, my sex life was uneventful to say the least. I had many problems with myself…. that i wont mention, but im sure many other men suffer the same humiliating problem, but are too afraid to mention. Many of my sexual partners complain about me not having the ability to improvise in the bedroom, and i wouldnt call myself a natural, but this book gave me the guidance that i sorely needed and invoked new ideas and achievements to aspire to. This book is in your face, and has no problem with explaining everything in detail, which is refreshing.. and it leaves little or nothing to the imagination… it only takes a small study of the book to take effect… and with adequate “practice” (im not without my charms).. any problems will be quickly and effeciently nipped in the bud. So guys, if you want the reputation of a verile rutting rhino, or a true cassanova, this book should never be overlooked. Highly recommended.
