Jenny Blackhurst's debut psychological thriller and #1 Kindle bestseller HOW I LOST YOU was described by Clare Mackintosh as 'utterly gripping'. If you love Louise Jensen's THE SISTER or Tracy Buchanan's NO TURNING BACK you will love this.

My name is Emma Cartwright. Three years ago I was Susan Webster, and I murdered my twelve-week-old son Dylan.

I have no memory of what happened but you believe what your loved ones, your doctor and the police are telling you, don't you?

But if you can't remember what happened, how can you be sure that they are telling the truth?

And if there was the smallest chance your son was alive, wouldn't you do anything to get him back?
If there was the smallest chance your son was alive, what would you do to get him back?

A fantastic debut from an outstanding talent.

A twisting thriller

 on 2 December 2017
By Richard Burke
Emma Cartright has a dark secret – she murdered her baby son during a bout of post natal depression. Or so everybody is telling her. After serving a four year sentence, she emerges from prison still with no memories of the crime of which she was accused.

Intrigued from the first chapter, this story just got better and better. Believable characters that you liked and hated in equal measure. The storyline weaved its way to a brilliant conclusion, and even though I’d worked out who some characters really were, the main killer came as a complete shock.

Absolutely loved this book, couldn’t put it down and just wanted to read it all the way through in one go – sadly life gets in the way so it took me a few evenings! Great twists, and even when I thought I had nailed it – it surprised me. Have just purchased Before I Let You In and hope it’s just as good.
