Having personally never trained martial arts until the age of 39, sensei Banks not only provides 20 digestible concise principles but lives and breathes every word of this book worthy of many higher achievement personally, and for his students.

A very interesting, informative and thoughtful read. Gave me as a parent an understanding of the world of karate! I would definitely recommend this for all karate students and parents.
