This has to be one of the best buys going: the set has almost halved in price from its original release price.

I’m by no means an expert in televisions but… THIS TV IS AMAZING. I bought it as an xmas present for my parents and the picture quality is very very good. The sound is alittle better with a soundbar but they’re as little as £100 these days. Only warning id give is that the browser doesnt contain flash – so you cant watch videos on it like you would a PC. But other than that, its amazing. Worth every penny, parents love it.

Excellent TV, almost great…

First question – do you really need a 4K or Ultra High Definition (UHD) TV? Probably not; firstly, a good HD TV should be more than adequate for home viewing. To put it into context, most cinemas in the UK operate at 2K, which is basically the same in terms of resolution as HD TV (HD TV = 1920 x 1080, 2K cinema = 2048 x 1080; UHD TV = 3840 x 2160, 4K cinema = 4096 x 2160). If 2K is good enough for the cinema, isn’t it good enough for your home? Few movies are shot at full 4K resolution and most are still post-produced at 2K.

This is a great tv. I think it’s fantastic. It’s certainly the best tv I have ever owned. Some of the reviews aren’t great on here but I don’t have a bad thing to say about this tv. It’s got such a crisp clear picture and the menus are easy to navigate through. Also have it hooked up to my Xbox One and that is amazing quality in picture. My kids love it too. Brilliant tv!!!

I purchased this tv on Tuesday and spent the few days until delivery reading ALOT of reviews, I was immensely looking forward to getting a new tele for the first time in 8 years but grew worried after reading what I now consider ALOT of rubbish from the obvious ‘ tv expert keyboard warriors’,

Very good TV might be last year’s model, but it is worth it. Smart options are good, smart remote is great. I recently purchased a sony KD-49X8305C Smart 4K UltraHD 49 inch TV. Which was rubbish, I even had to return it, and went for this one. And the family loves it. easy enough for the kids to use.
