I have followed Melanie’s recipes for some time and was looking forward to this first book. I am not disappointed. At home.most days I do not use slow cooker often. However, I have already selected several must tries. Only problem is spoilt for choice, which one to cook first? Well done Melanie. Look forward to the next one. x

This book is so handy as its on my iPhone so I can shop for the items using the list on my phone then work easily from the recipe when I get home. Every Monday for the last four weeks I have made the jambalaya which we think is our favourite, it’s delicious as are the other recipes. All the recipes are easy to follow and soooo very tasty which is just what you need when following a healthy eating plan. I have the book on a kindle app for my phone but whichever format, it is a must have book if you are trying to loose weight in a healthy way while at the same time having variety with delicious flavoursome tastes. I can’t recommend this book enough and I can’t wait until the next one.

Made the goulash as my first recipe after downloading the kindle of the recipe book and have bought ingredients to try out more already, anyway back to Goulash, its delicious, and my tip is ……… I left lid off for 20 mins after cooking time recommended and turned heat to high and it thickened sauce.,.but really enjoyed and enjoyed the fact not so many calories but still a substantial meal 🙂

Got this downloaded to my kindle. Have found it really useful. It has re-kindled (no pun intended) my enthusiasm for the slow cooker and helped me keep on my weight loss plan. There are a good number of appealing recipes that I look forward to trying. Those that I have tried have proved to be delicious, not like the usual low fat fare. Would definately recommend.

This book has some great recipes. Unlike some other books of this type it seems to be written for the UK market for a change & therefore ingredients listed do not make you stop & scratch your head in confusion.
