In general a good book

A short book but I argue provides good quality reading the first chapter I easily relate to what the author is saying. The premise fought for here is that negative thinking stops you personally from chasing your dreams & goals in life. This helped affirm to me and give me a push or sense of motivation to reduce negative thinking in my life. Chapter 2 goes into the power of the subconscious mind & why it is powerful, as well as what you can do to harness its power. Moving on chapter 3 goes into ways to develop a positive thought process. This includes using a journal to record down negative thoughts on paper as this will make them sound much more ludicrous than when affirmed in your mind. That & you’ll be able to understand what you’ve been feeding your mind & how to stop it. What I liked the most is in chapter 3 the author discusses writing down all the negative phrases you use & then how you can figure those out & replace them with positive words instead. This is something I never thought of doing & would certainly show more positive results in my life I believe once implemented. Obviously the book discusses much more then what I can mention here in this short review but by implementing the advice consistently, many people can at least reduce their own negative self-talk to some extent because of the principles expressed in this book. Overall this is a good book and highly recommended.

Enjoyable and helpful, it was very easy to read and not too complicated. Spoke about basic techniques. Have read better but have also read worse.

If you ever wanted to change your mindset then this is the book for you, with the power of positive thinking you can change the way you think kick out all negative thoughts, change your life for the better and if I can do it so can anyone who reads this book. Its about believing in yourself, but first you have to love yourself , who and what you are and by using affirmations, meditation life certainly takes on new meaning.

Why 5 stars for a 39 page book….simply because it has helped and that’s what I needed. The advice and techniques offered here are straight forward and simple to apply. No waffle or information that requires a degree in psycho analysis to understand. I will certainly be employing the techniques described and feel confident (that’s not a term I often use lately) that they will help. If you have felt the need to read this book, I offer you best wishes for your future endeavours.
