Brilliant for the basics

Clear and well written. I am an intermediate sax player who has realised there are big holes in my music theory knowledge and this is filling them in well! And to respond to one of the other reviewers … there are eight notes in an OCTave but it consists of 12 semitones or 6 tones.

Good all round coverage of music theory.

Great value.provides good explanations and descriptions. Would be good starter book for beginners and revision tool for more advanced musicians.
