I got into this book really quickly. The twits kept me gripped. However there was a bit near the end that baffled me ever so slightly. Something I guess the author forgot to explain in relation to a UK mobile telephone number & its origins Don’t let that put you off reading this book though, I will definitely be reading more from this author

her Mum and Luke- and I couldn’t reconcile the Like from the start with the loving husband/dad

First book by Sue Fortin, but I will certainly be seeking out her other novels. This is a fact paced psychological thriller, that has plenty of twists and turns to keep you interested.

Absolutely brilliant reading!!

This book is probably the best English Thriller written by an English author I have ever read and deserves far more than just five stars. I’ve not read any other Sue Fortin book before but on the strength of this one, have ordered another two or three of this author’s books and will definitely keep my eye out for all her future books. Great writing. Edge of your seat storyline. This lady author is going to go far, very far indeed!!

Brilliant and well worth a read

A really interesting story line that is most definitely a page turner. Two sisters, separated when quite young, are suddenly reunited years later. A mother, Marion, who is obviously so happy so see her child again and a sister, Clare, who cannot understand why her feelings are not as they should be – so much so that she actually feels as if she is having some sort of breakdown (as does almost everyone she knows) because her family life seems to be disintegrating around her since the arrival of her sister, Alice. There are lots of different components to this book so it makes for a very compelling read. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it.
