I absolutely loved this book. I have read so many of these books in the past and put them down 20 or 30 pages in. I read Brian’s book in 2 days! Then read it again, cover to cover 2 days later! Not only is there so much to learn from this book, it is so clear and easy to read for anyone at all. The words flow from the pages! If you don’t follow Brian on social media you should! He is a wealth of knowledge and you can almost hear him reciting the information to you from the book in that lovely Galway accent!! The mental health aspect here is spot on and no mater where you are in you life it WILL motivate your to get up and going or to push harder for your goals! I really can’t see anyone not having some new thoughts from this book.

Brilliant book by a top guy.

I started following brian on Instagram and snapchat about 6months ago and truthfully, at the beginning, I was like ah here’s another I’m a fitness guru and look at my body I eat 2billion cals a day but I’m a machine type of lad. But I then started listening to his podcasts and was completely turned around. Brian wasn’t like the others you see flaunting and poo talking and most importantly, he wasn’t a brand abassador full of my protein or other fitness advertisements. He was as raw as anything. No filter attached and completely honest with all his reviews and thoughts. Literally the ideal person to follow and base your own fitness aspirations on. I’m so glad to have bought this book. The book is literally the way he goes on… 100% honest. No poo talk. It’s full of great information about every aspect someone may have, whether fitness related or not. I’m half way though the book and can’t put it down. Even have the ol highlighter out as if I’m back in school taking notes on “NB” parts. Haha I’ve started doing some of his stuff he suggests and I am feeling better in myself and training wise it’s improved a good bit. I was never bad at my nutrition and I do train religiously but, If you are someone like me, and is constantly looking at more ways to improve yourself, even mentally, I would highly recommend this book. A great easy read. The man did well and I hope he continues to. So buy it!!! you won’t regret it.

This is definitely a 100% reccomendation, if you are either starting or continuing a journey you’ve already began, this book is for you! I have been following Brian Keane since I started my fitness journey on social media, through that setting I had already found him a greeat source of inspiration and knowledge, then he announced he was writing his own book and since then I have been waiting for its release. Well it was released and it was promtly ordered, when it arrived I couldnt wait to read but as per usual life got in the way for the first few days, so last Friday morning I decided to sit down early and quicly gloss over it before I left for work, near the end of the book later I was informed of the time and realised I had nearly finished the book. It is so well written and so easy to follow and understand I found myself not wanting to put it down, and admittedly I am not one for reading at all, but this book had peaked my interest from the get go, it has a personal touch to which I could really relate to, I found myself being able to put myself in some similar situations and getting a laugh out of it. Brilliantly written and made easy to follow for the gym goer and the starter its a definite add on to any collection, so whether you are in the middle of your own journey or just starting out this book will guide you in the right direction..

This is a jewel of a book. I and my Husband both boosted our Health and Fitness levels by reading Brian’s informative, truly engaging book The Fitness Mindset. My husband is a member of The Roscommon Senior GAA Football backroom team who collectively had a very successful championship 2017. I recommended this book to him and he used it in offering advice to team members whilst also educating himself on topics such as Nutrition, Sleep, Training and Stress. As he always had it with him I purchased The Kindle version. I road run and have completed marathons and half marathons and I would have no hesitation without reservation recommending this book. A truly positive read.

I’m one of those people that always make excuses about getting in shape or dealing with my life choices and tell myself constantly that i can’t change that because its not the right time or I don’t know enough yet to make a change. I’ve read Brian’s book twice now and trying to find an excuse as to why I shouldn’t start now but the truth is I can’t come up with a single one. The book literally has everything laid out in a way I can easily follow and understand and has everything I need to take action now. After reading The Fitness Mindset I have no excuses, have all the information I need and even gives me a starting point. While I will continue to struggle with beginning my journey I now know that once I take that first step this book will be my guide to getting to where I want to be in health and life. I cannot recommend it enough and if you’re like me, always putting things off and constantly making excuses, I can promise you that this book will be the one that will make you see how easy it can be to change, what happens next is up to each of us!

I have never been one to get a book for fitness or even mindset. When the book came in the post it probably took me a few days to sit down and look through it, I then ended up reading it. I really enjoyed reading it and rereading some parts a few more times. From your snapchats and youtube videos, I got the knowledge and confidence to start going to the gym. Which also resulting in me helping my brother, the book helps me to understand what am doing and why. The book is great, very simple and easy to read. The examples and quote really help to understand what your talking about. I find the book very handy to have because I can physical go back and look up what I have forgotten. Its a great read and have recommended to lots of people. The mindset helps loads, to keep the Positivity. Hope this is a start to many more to come.

This book was excellent – if you have no knowledge at all in the areas of fitness, nutrition and mindset it serves as a great intro, explaining all the basics, however it also builds on this information with further explanations of key concepts and why a certain method works etc. making it helpful to someone with experience in the field of fitness/nutrition. Brian’s use of himself as an example (struggles he encountered and how he overcame them) throughout the book makes the book a thourougly easy and enjoyable read. The mindset section is also excellent and probably my favourite chapter in the book is the very last one, well worth the money for this alone! Looking forward to the next book, maybe going into even further detail in terms of either nutrition, fitness or mindset.

I read this book in one evening, it flows so easily and is easy to understand, once I started I couldn’t stop.
