After years of fish finger sandwiches, Verity Bloom is falling back in love with food again – thanks to The Plumberry School of Comfort Food. And with the success of the cookery school's TV appearance and Tom’s sudden disappearance, it’s not just sparks in the kitchen that are flying.

There are more events lined up, so Verity and the team have to put their noses to the grindstone. Easier said than done when Verity is also looking after Gloria, who is still wobbly after her fall, and taking stock of her future at Plumberry . . .

But as romance begins to properly simmer, will an unexpected turn of events change everything for Verity and the team?

The Plumberry School of Comfort Food is an irresistibly charming novel told in four parts – following the adventures of Verity Bloom in love, friendship and cooking. This is the third part.

Shaping up to be my favourite Bramley series yet!

Hurrah for the third instalment of Plumberry! I have been eagerly awaiting the news of whether Tom would return from Manchester (with or without Rebecca), how Gloria is healing and how the Great Plumberry Bake-Off goes…

In Part Three you laugh, you cry, and you hope for the best.

Ahh Part Three, when I finished part two on the journey home from Abersoch I eagerly downloaded Part Three straight away and finally had time to get around to reading it this morning. I have fallen so hard in love with Plumberry and the Cooking School. Cathy has created such a suburb and idyllic village.

I can’t recommend this series enough

Each instalment of the Plumberry School of Comfort Food has just got better and better!

Tragedy Strikes!

With everything going so well for the School and the respective private lives of the characters it was a rather dramatic and tragic ending with lots of questions which require answers although I think I can guess what some of the answers are. One of the main characters dies and we are now faced with Verity’s love life also in the spot light – has her romance with Tom ended before it started and is there someone else she should be with who would be a better fit? I can’t wait to read the final installment.

I enjoyed the books and to put them into small chunks left you wanting more and the story is enfolding nicely, can’t wait to read the next instalment.

Having read Parts 1 & 2 and enjoyed them very much was eagerly awaiting part 3. It certainly lived up to expectations and has left me wanting to see what happens in part 4. Didn’t see that ending coming, but I won’t spoil it by saying what happens!!! Would highly recommend this & Cathy’s other books which I have also loved.

3rd part of the series. Things are looking up for the cookery school as business takes off and the courses are getting fuller. Gloria is still unwell and takes a turn for the worst, while Tom misunderstands the relationship between Gabe and Verify.

The sign of a good read when you don’t want to put it down

Part three of the story has some ups and downs but still leaves me wanting more. Looking forward to part four but will be sad to reach the end of the saga.

One more story to go, then I will be wishing there were more. It is keeping the suspension going right to the end.
