During my time learning to drive I have had a few different instructors, and I have been confused on more than one occasion when the things I have been told about various parts of the test have been different. This book has opened my eyes to a lot of things, and I like the fact that it is all excellent information and not lots of filler. I am now really hopeful about my next test. The part about choosing an instructor is a bit late for me, more’s the pity!

I think I’ve just saved a lot of money

I’m sometimes wary about insider tip type books, but this one was an eye opener. A couple of things I had been told about the test were worrying me but this book has cleared them up. Some other information about the reversing exercises, I wish I had known before my first test. Just as useful is the is the info on choosing an instructor. I think I will be changing mine. Good information and easy to read and remember.

It was very helpful to read about what the examiner considers to be just minor faults, and I was surprised to learn that some issues I thought would result in faults, actually don’t. I would say I went into the test a lot less anxious because of this knowledge. And I passed!

Good read

A very useful little book, you can read it again and again and hopefully test day will be easier. In my opinion you should drive as carefully and safely as you can on your test and after that, never put the examiners or the public’s life at risk! But none of us are perfect and everyone makes mistakes unfortunately but as long as you know you’ve done your best. I’ve often wondered if an examiners job is stressful, like police and ambulance drivers!?but as I’ve never chatted to any I don’t know. A good book for anyone getting closer to test day!!
