Really useful and quirky eBook. I’m always on the look for quirky/frugal/clever tips and tricks or life hacks and this eBook just seemed like such a good idea, if not quite funny. the idea of making this book out of tweets i found to be really clever and down to earth, especially when scrolling through you can see the humorous spelling or grammar of some of the tips making it definitely believable that there real tweets. the book it’s self categorises the tweets into different types of thrifty tweets, such as cleaning, cooking etc. I don’t use twitter, never have, and i doubt i ever will, so for me it’s really cool to have these useful tweets all in one place.

Save money, don’t buy this book…well maybe…

I consider myself to be a fairly frugal person, but I don’t go over the top with it either so this Kindle book seemed perfect for my needs. Also, the author’s Twitter handle is @thrifty_niftyUK if you are interested in reading more tweets. You could argue that you can save even more money simply by going to their Twitter profile, but the nice thing about having it inside a book is that it’s well organised.

Handy book!

I enjoyed scrolling through this ebook and particularly liked the tweet content. I’m familiar with Twitter and use it a lot so the style is easy to connect with for me and makes sense. It’s interesting to learn too how others shorten their content to make maximum impact!

Good tips, if you don’t mind the "text speak" Twitter style; not currently compatible with Kindle devices

Gemma’s story is inspiring and as a thrifty person myself I enjoyed reading the tips and learnt quite a few new things along the way.

Good compilation of thrifty tips!

I’m always looking for ways to make life easier; I love a good ‘life hack’ and if I can save some money without compromising on my lifestyle I will – who wouldn’t. Most people will have come across some tips about how to use household staples to do the jobs of branded cleaners and save money and use less chemicals in the process. This seems to me to be a compilation of all those kinds of things in various contexts along with some sound financial tips. I tend to remember this kind of stuff so I was curious as to what I could learn from the book.

Lots of handy tips

I am always looking for ways to save money and innovative ideas that will help me live frugally and save money for treats and holidays, so books about saving money and living thriftily are always of interest to me, naturally therefore my attention was drawn towards this book. Gemma Lou’s book collects together her tweets from the last few years all relating to how to be more frugal and thrifty. The book is broken into eight sections; a foreword by the author, top tweets, beauty, around the house, household bills, cars and other transport, clothes and shoes and finally straightforward money. The book is full of hundreds if not thousands of helpful and innovative ideas collected by the author and presented in short tweet style lines. There is also a section dedicated to ways to make money which are also useful and creative. The book is well presented and gives the information in concise and snappy one or two lines. On reading the tip you can tell that they have been tested over time by Gemma the author herself and therefore you know that they will work. I look forward to putting some of these ideas into practice and start saving money and living more frugally and thriftily. Although short this book packs in many great money saving ideas condensed into 30 pages without any filler. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for creative and innovative ways to save and make money.

This book is entirely made up of Bullet points each one giving you advice on ‘what to do’ to save money and in some cases ‘earn money’. Its not a get rich quick book but rather a enjoy what you have and make changes to your life to get the best out of it-book. If you are really thrifty you will find a lot of these point quite obvious and may have heard them before and thus take only a few ideas. If you are not at all thrifty and need to somehow curb your spending then this book will offer so many new ideas. Using bullet points to hand over the authors knowledge is somewhat simple yet effective. It is very easy to find the ideas you are after.Receiving it as EBook is great because you can download to any of your devices and glance at it whist you’re out and about to remind you to save! The book has an intention and it delivers, the author should be proud that she will help so many people in economic troubles. Through-out there is a snazzy graphic edge to separate contents but this doesn’t deflect from what is being conveyed. ‘I received this E-Book for an unbiased review’ and am thrifty to a degree, after reading I’m now a little more.
