-25 Minor Pentatonic Blues Licks-
-Free Audio Examples Download from http://www.fundamental-changes.com –
-3 Quality Backing Tracks-

This book contains 25 new and original minor pentatonic blues guitar licks. There are 5 licks for each of the 5 minor pentatonic scale shapes shown below.

Each lick has a corresponding audio example which is available for free download (no strings attached!) from www.funamental-changes.com just click on the ‘downloads’ link.

Included are 3, high quality backing tracks at different speeds to get you playing as soon as possible.

Also in this book there is a great section on how to practice these lines so they naturally incorporate into your playing.
This book came out of a need to develop great blues playing in many of my 40+ weekly private guitar students. Every line in this book has been tried and tested on private students who pay many multiples of the cost of this book. It’s all ‘good stuff’ and every line contained in these pages will teach you something about a different area of the guitar whilst giving you some great lines to play.
Whether you play rock, jazz, or metal, the root of all modern music is the blues so a fundamental understanding of its vocabulary is essential.
If you don’t already know them, here are the 5 shapes of the minor pentatonic scale in the key of A. To learn them, play and visualise the chord (red dots) and then play through the scale.

Learn the Pentatonic sound

 on 26 September 2015
By Jonathon AK
A shorter book by Mr alexander but still a well-written explanation of the difference between the Major and Minor pentatonic’s but focusing more on the minor sound again I can find no fault in this book certainly is helping me to understand what I though I knew all about, a great book for the price with some nice licks as always to play along with which always helps.

A Great Focus on Starting to Learn the Blues

 on 3 February 2013
By Don McWilliam
If you are a person that has found that playing the blues is something you would love to be able to do, then this is a great place to begin. The reader should understand that the basics are in learning the pentatonic scales and this book gives you 25 great licks to get you going. In addition to the clear tab provided, the easily accessible audio files are of a high quality and the choice of licks, well I can only describe them as the ones you just want to be able to play.

Minor Pentatonic Licks – a great range of resources

 on 6 November 2012
By Mr. G. Hanley
I’ve been a self taught guitar player for 20 odd years, just picking up bits and pieces along the way and usually ignoring proper techniques. I picked up this book and have found that the combination of writing style, illustrations and the online resources (recorded tracks to jam along to) makes this a great way to teach yourself the scale patterns and make them stick. Usually in the past when I tried to learn scales, etc I quickly got bored, but the recorded tracks are a great way to encourage you to practise. I’m already looking forward to my next lesson.

25 Minor pentatonic licks

This is a very interesting book for anyone keen on making up their own guitar solos. Without this pentatonic scale under your belt soloing is difficult but Joseph Alexander describes the system perfectly. Ray Hurst
