Office Christmas Party of the Year

 on 14 February 2017
By Really Love Books
Christmas Day at the Office is book two in this funny Office series, but I’m not sure if there’s going to be a third. It’s my first book from Matt Dunn believe it or not and after spending time with the lots down at Seek Software I feel I would love to read more of his work.

A Christmas Day at the Office is like the novel equivalent to one of those romantic comedies that we love to watch every year at about this time. A good example is Love Actually. Like that film, there is an ensemble of characters with equal prominence, each in the pursuit of romantic love and happiness.

A great follow up to "A day at the office"

A great follow up to “A day at the office”. A ‘feel good’, humorous sequel for christmas with the usual blend of misunderstandings and cringeworthy situations (we’ve all been there if we care to admit it!). Matt Dunn is brilliant at this genre and any of his books are worth a go if you haven’t read any.

An extremely well written book, funny tender and very true to life. The. way the author goes through all the different characters makes this an exceptionally good book

I’d read the first a few weeks before and as it was near Christmas decided to try this one too. It’s chick lit and for me I have to be in the mood for it. I liked it, nothing to write home about and tell everyone about it but it made me smile and a very quick read. Definitely a holiday book.

Fab characters, great finding out more about their individual journeys. Prince Charming really can come when you least expect it!
