Loved it

Such a good read and following on from the two other halfpenny books and I am really hoping there may be a follow up as there are so many characters which stories could carry on into a fourth book.

Easy reading

Am currently reading this book, having read the previous two I'm this series. Am a little confused as to why there is a picture of a boy and a girl on the front when the two children featured are twin girls?? Again, like the second book, rather too many references to what happened in the first too books.

I have read all three books and ever one of them has a mighty story about a hard life in the forties and how with love and kindness from all walks of life manage to bring sadness , joy and tears. The books are outstanding and still bring a tear to my eyes and a lump to my throat. Well done

Light reading, struck a lot of cords. Good view from child’s perspective. Enjoyed the ups and down’s of St Saviours, not many surprise’s but well researched.
