Simply brilliant

For someone who has flailed around for a few years coming and going from the guitar this book was a godsend. Reignited my enthusiasm for the guitar by introducing an understanding of what I was playing as opposed to copying other guitarists on you tube. A worthy purchase. Thank you Erich

Naff as the subtitle is, this is quite simply the best guitar primer I have come across to date.

guitar lessons made easy

I bought this book after seeing Erich on YouTube and I have to say it is worth every penny. It is very suitable for a relative beginner like me ( I had lessons 30 years ago and ran out of patience so gave up)or a complete beginner, it is very easy to understand. You also get lots of free links to video lessons plus I have just watched a free Q&A streaming lesson for the ukulele, which I would never have had the chance to see if I had not bought this book. I downloaded it to My IPad so the links to the videos work as soon as you touch them, so if you want to learn guitar get the book that keeps giving.

I’ve followed Erich on Youtube for a few years and his style of dry humour while explaining song structure and different styles has made learning guitar a real pleasure.

Must have for budding guitar players

Erich’s youtube video’s have really helped my guitar play over the last two years. He’s taken me from being a novice to being, well, a slightly better novice for which I am very, very grateful. He’s certainly one of the best teachers to watch on the internet.

Guitar mastery Simplified

At last a book that can advance my ‘limited’ knowledge of the guitar and take me beyond just ‘plodding along’ into actually mastering the instrument. I recommend this book to all struggling with the mysteries of the guitar, go buy it.

Tells some some ideas.

I’m just going through it now. It tells some good ideas which is worth more than the book. It also appears to lead to more purchases from the publisher via a web site which also purports to support you etc. However, I’ve read one or two books now and this one should be acted upon for the tips and exercises.

An inspiration to new starts and old hands

Very good and detailed strumming and chord instruction.

An interesting book.

An interesting book. And challenging. I had finished the first tutor book (A Tune a Day) and was ready for something to take me onwards. This is a challenging book at my early level of playing, but already appreciate it is just what I needed. I would recommend.
