How many croissants does it take to mend a broken heart?

Ava and her best friend Debs arrive in Paris just as the snow starts to fall. The Eiffel Tower glitters gold, but all Ava can think about is Leo, her no-good, cheating ex.

Debs is on a mission to make Ava smile again, and as they tour the Christmas markets, and eat their body weight in pain-au-chocolat, Ava remembers there’s more to life than men… Until they cross paths with sizzling hot, oh-so-mysterious photographer Julien, with his French accent and hazelnut eyes that seem to see right inside her.

Ava can’t ignore the intense chemistry between them, but she can’t help but feel he’s hiding something. Her fingers have been burned before and she can’t forget it, especially when her ex, Leo, starts texting again. Can Ava really trust Julien – and what exactly is his secret?

Will Ava go home with a broken heart, or will she find true love in Paris?

Join Ava and Julien in the most romantic city in the world this Christmas, as they discover the importance of being true to themselves, and learn how to follow their hearts.

One Christmas in Paris is a gorgeous, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy – perfect for fans of Jane Costello, Miranda Dickinson and Lucy Diamond.

They’re just such a lovely and lighthearted read. And this one was no different. It’s such a festive and romantic storyline that I found myself, once again, really enjoying this novel. Let me just say that I read this particular novel after reading Mandy’s newest Christmas release and completely fell in love with it. It was just such a wonderful read that I knew I had to read others.

This story made me want to rush off to Paris! It’s a lovely, escapist, feel-good read – and Mandy Baggot really knows how to write characters you can fall in love with! Ava with her new haircut and feisty attitude was wonderful, and as for Julien… I wanted to share more than Camembert with him! The perfect book for snuggling up with under a blanket with a pain au chocolat. Highly recommended!

Another Mandy Baggot winner. It’s been a while since I’ve visited Paris but I feel like I’ve been spirited away to enjoy the sights and … the food! Once again some amazing characters come alive on the page and the chemistry, well – Ava and Julien don’t disappoint. But this is also a story about true friendship. Warm, romantic and laugh-out-loud moments – a pure delight!

Finished this a few weeks ago and really loved the story of Ava and Debs. Also, in their time in France with Julian and Didier.

A a escaped to Paris with her friend Debs who writes for a living. A a went to Paris as her mother wanted her to go to Goa to model which Ava did not want to do ever again. So when A a was in Paris her ex boyfriend Leo rang her and tried to get her back unknown to her Julien was photographing because of her facial expressions. They become friends and go around looking at the sights…

A real Christmasy feel good romantic comedy

I enjoyed reading the book just before Christmas as it is, as the title suggests, a real feel good romantic comedy. It is full of action, charming characters and positive transformations. Being a lover of Paris, myself, I just wished it conveyed the more authentic spirit of the town and went beyond the most well known sightseeings.

As always a lovely and easy read from Mandy Baggot

As always a lovely and easy read from Mandy Baggot. A sprinkling of humour throughout … ups, lows and pages that leave you smiling as you think ‘i’ve done that’. It has been many years since I visited Paris but I was transported back, Mandy’s description of places, events and emotion always perfect! A perfect read for a holiday, a lazy Sunday afternoon or just because you can!
