Another great, relatable read!!

 on 17 February 2018
By Amazon Customer
I absolutely loved reading this book. Whether it be whilst feeding my little 7 week old girl. When she was crying and screaming at 4am as I put her on my chest to calm her. I read this when I doubted getting back into running post pregnancy. I read this for inspiration and 2-3 weeks of starting back to running. I’m already feeling thankful that I read these books when I was recovering from given birth and had extremely itchy feet to get back to it. I really hope Hannah brings out another book in the future. They’re absolute pure wittiness and more than worth the read.

Relatable and inspiring especially for new runners

This is a warts-and-all insight into what it’s like to build up to long distance running, told by a former non-runner. Hannah is funny, enthusiastic and honest (sometimes tmi!) about her experiences.

Another fantastic read

Having read ‘No run intended’ and following Hannah’s journey on social media, I had been eagerly anticipating the next instalment. I was not disappointed. Hannah is a fantastic, natural story teller and I really felt as though I was with her on her journey. It made me laugh out loud continuously and I have been telling everyone I know to read it. Being a runner, I can obviously relate to a lot of this but I really think there are a lot of life lessons outside of running to be learnt from the story. A must read for any runner.

Everything you really need to know about marathon training!

A laugh out loud, cry your eyes, out rollercoaster of emotions book. Hannah is brutally honest and frank in her documentation of her marathon preparation. I love your style Hannah. You haven’t put me off running a marathon because I’ve never wanted to, I’m in total awe and admiration for those that do.

Another amazing, funny and emotional account

Well done Hannah, absolutely loved reading this book. I completely agree with all your tips on training for a marathon. After NY marathon, I felt completely numb. It’s amazing how it affects everyone differently.

For the ‘real life’ runner

Loved this book just as much as No Run Intended. There are so many books about running but Hannah’s are for the ‘real life’ runners amongst us. They’re so honest and so funny – with so many moments of self recognition. A fab read.

Having signed up for my first marathon training going well, after a 13.1 training run I came down with a chest infection feeling sad for myself and scared by how week I felt and 2 days recovering in bed I read this book in a morning and all my fears have gone . Brilliantly and honesty written, funny and heart rendering, I now can’t wait to get out the door and run free again.

Loved this book

I thoroughly enjoyed both books written by this amazeballs runner. I laughed, cried and reminisced my own marathon training and running in the London Marathon 2017. I really hope there’s a third book in the pipeline …
