For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey – the international bestseller – an explosive novel of sex, secrecy and escape.

‘You’ve never been in control, until now; you’ve never, before, had exactly what you want…The lights turned off. A touch that’s gentle, slow, provocative, that builds you up, that makes you want it too much…’

Imagine on honeymoon, lulled by sultry heat and the promise of a lifetime’s happiness, you discover a shocking secret about your husband. But instead of destroying you, the knowledge brings freedom; the freedom to bare your soul, explore your deepest desires and discover what you really want.

THE BRIDE STRIPPED BARE is the story of a passionate sexual awakening, as erotic as it is dangerous.

The seduction goes further when a married woman recalls her first love affair in Nikki Gemmell’s WITH MY BODY…

Great Book

I really really enjoyed this book. I liked the style of writing – which was basically like listening to a woman’s personal thoughts. I didn’t lose interest at any point and always wanted to know what was happening next. Maybe the ending was a little confusing but enjoyed it all the same and I am just about to read Nicki Gemmell’s other book – With my body. Would definitely recommend – worth a read.

A friend recommended this book. Thought it might be like Fifty Shades ( which I hated and didn’t finish) but it’s not. Well written,it explores different relationships and is sad, funny , touching and sometimes quite brutal. Left me thinking about the heroine, her behaviour and feelings , and hoping there might be a sequel.

This is an excellent book written in the second person. The story is extremely personal and introspective. Fifty shades of sh**e it aint, and it is a gross insult to the author Nicky Gemmell to lump her into the mommy porn category, or whatever you want to call it. This novel is thought-provoking and there are aspects of the main character that we can all identify with. Some of her choices are a little unbelievable and difficult to read, but nonetheless she is a brilliantly drawn character. I would suggest men read some of the lessons too…

I thought this book was excellentand extremely well written. It was intriguing but I wouldn’t leave it lying around for my teenager to read. However, I would personally recommend it for adults and it does have a subtle message.
