A massive guide to bodybuilding. It covers all areas and is full of so much information that most if not all will learn something new. It contains many excercises and how to preform them safety and correctly. How to prevent injurys, how to prepare for a contest, how to gain muscle, how to lose fat and more. Arnold has won many bodybuilding contests and has gathered information from other professionals making an educational and vaulable book for anyone, wether beginner or veteran I find it hard to believe you will not gain something of value from this book. I consider this book to be the one bodybuilding book you should get.

Buy this and ditch the Personal Trainer (and please please burn the Joe Wicks book!!), it really is that simple in my opinion. Arnie and his team have been there, done it, won it, and got the t-shirt. This book is a comprehensive review and detailed breakdown of building muscle including diet. The same 80-20 rule applies today, 80% diet (complex carbs, lean protein, good fat), 20% exercise (anabolic and aerobic). Get yourself a notepad and add the exercises and schedule from this book then hit the gym. Stop messing about with the machines, pick up the free weights, the barbel, the dumbells and watch the fat melt away and muscle grow. Arnie is the man.

Since getting this back in July it has been my go to book for fitness. Although it is primarily in bodybuilding, it does delve into aerobic training for fat loss for example. It covers everything you need, Exercises and how to do them correctly and safely, nutrition and diet, injury prevention and treatment, and everything else you would want to know.

This is the bible from the living legend. It may seem outdated but routines that actually work never change. You can jump off boxes and do your cross fit all you like but ignore fads and do what actually works. It hasn’t changed and it never will.

Firstly,I got the kindle version @£9.99 because i believe that with the availability the internet gives us £40 for any book is a silly price. The kindle version is great, it downloaded in under two minutes,i cant fault it.

I feel that I missed out all those years ago, not going to a gym and training in my bedroom for all those years, thonking I new best!. What a mistake. I read the book from the greatest show man living, and found out why I never grew to the best I could just by eating the right stuff and at the right time. I have noticed a difference in two weeks. If you want to change your body and the way you feel, buy and read this book. Do it properly and you can always revert back to it when your not sure about something. You will feel tired but its worth it. What a book.

Love this book. I got it to complement my Joe Mangeniello evolution book. It gives wider guideance on the muscles and exercises. It really is pretty definitive. Arnie’s narrative is excellent.

A very thorough and sizeable encyclopedia, with a wealth of information from competition to exercises. I wish there was a more detailed section on nutrition, but it does give decent guidelines. Some of the information is a little outdated now, but it’s still a worthwhile source of information.
